Product Marketing Manager reports to VP/General Manager. Duties include: Implementing, driving and helping develop product strategy required to meet company’s market share and gross margin goals
Responsibilities:
Directs, develops and executes product marketing plans, including product definition, pricing, positioning and promotion.
Defines product roadmaps that ensure the product line will achieve competitive advantage throughout the product life cycle.
Be the product conscience, accountable for assuring competitiveness, growing market share, increasing gross margins, and strong branding.
Develops market collateral including white papers, datasheets, product profiles, and other sales enablers to sustain a successful sales process.
Ensures regional marketing and sales teams are equipped to win against the competition including designing and delivering training programs and selling tools.
Drives consensus on and achieve support for product strategy and implementation requirements. Negotiate consensus product plans w/engineering.
Ensures product cost, development schedules, and performance constraints are optimized in all development activities to best meet market needs and opportunities.
Engages with customers to form, test, promote, and build market demand.
20-30% International Travel.
Qualifications:
Expert understanding of Semiconductor Manufacturing Capital Equipment market with high level of technical competence in semiconductor manufacturing.
Ability to conduct in-depth technical and business analysis, prepare product roadmaps, market requirements, pricing strategies, product option architectures, and market introduction plans.
A demonstrated ability to solicit customer needs and interpret market direction and requirements.
Proficient at recognizing market opportunities, and articulating a complete business case to support investing in those opportunities.
Expert understanding and ability to execute marketing processes including market requirements development, product launch execution, sales kit development, sales force training, and product promotion for semiconductor capital equipment.
Minimum of technical undergraduate degree (Ph.D. in related field preferred), with 10+ years experience in product marketing and applications.
Extensive (10+ years) experience in semiconductor capital equipment marketing and product management with front end process experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of the semiconductor industry, transistor formation and process integration in IC manufacturing.
Experience working with semiconductor manufacturers, fab level experience preferred.
