Director of European Sales reports to VP Global Sales and Field Operations.
Responsibilities:
Build, lead, manage and grow key accounts to deliver the company’s stated financial objectives.
Implement the structure, process, and personnel in order for the company to successfully scale its operations.
Build strong relationships at the C-level in order to leverage new business and build customer confidence in company’s ability to be a strategic partner.
Develop and maintain industry relationships that provide opportunities for new business development.
A Strong Process Orientation: A manager that applies analytical discipline and rigor in the management of a business by:
Running the business in a quantitative manner by developing appropriate metrics, and key performance indicators.
Developing forecasting and sell through modeling tools to provide greater visibility into the business and customer relationships.
Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree is required.
Extensive knowledge of the Biology & Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and/or Materials Sciences industries, with current or past specific experience in the capital equipment sector.
Specific large account management experience required. Ideally, has implemented or led a global account management organization.
